A note on the Copic color system from Too Corporation:
"The color family is divided into 10 levels of Blending Group (0-9). The first digit in the color number represents the saturation level of each color. More vibrant colors tend to fall in the 0s, 10s or 20s color number. The higher the number the more saturated the colors become and the lower the number, the colors becomes more de-saturated and closer to grey. An increase in the first digit of the color number will show a saturation difference that could create a different outcome.
The Earth color family is a cluster of various (less-vibrant, brownish) red and yellow-red colors. While there is a sequence of saturation between Blending Group 0-3, the Blending Group 4-9 are composed of combination of "Wine", "Olive" and "Cobalt".
The Earth color family Blending Group are independent of each other, meaning there is no specific sequence of saturation between each Blending Group."
