Amaco High Fire Ceramic Glazes bring together customer favorites from the legacy Sahara and Celebration lines into a versatile, reliable Cone 5-6 glaze series. These glazes are formulated for stoneware and porcelain and are safe for use on functional dinnerware.

Designed to produce rich, layered effects in oxidation and reduction atmospheres, these glazes are best applied to bisque-fired ware (Cone 04) using a brush application. The result is a vibrant, durable surface that showcases the depth and quality of your ceramic work.

Firing Temperatures:

• Cone 5: 2167°F (1186°C)

• Cone 6: 2232°F (1222°C)
  Based on controlled heating rates of 108°F/hour or 60°C/hour in final stage
