AMACO® Gum Solution is a versatile additive that improves the performance and application of ceramic glazes. By slowing the drying time and increasing brushability, it helps artists achieve smoother, more even coats—especially useful for intricate work or multi-layer glazing.

Ideal for use with both fresh and aging glazes, Gum Solution can help restore old or thick glazes to a smooth, creamy consistency. Simply thin the glaze with water first, then mix in approximately one tablespoon of Gum Solution, adjusting as needed for ideal flow without brush drag.
