Jacquard Urea is a professional dyeing additive used to improve dye absorption and color intensity in fabric dyeing applications. Acting as a humectant, urea attracts moisture from the air and helps keep dye solutions wet longer, allowing dyes additional time to bond with fibers for richer, deeper color results.

Widely used in tie dye, hand painting, direct dye application, and screen printing, urea is especially helpful in dry climates or warm environments where dye solutions can dry too quickly during application.

Jacquard Urea can also be combined with Sodium Alginate thickener to create dye mixtures suitable for fabric painting, silk painting, and screen printing techniques.

Instructions

• Add:
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) per 8 fl oz (0.24 L) dye solution
  • OR ¼ cup (57 g) per 1 quart (0.95 L) dye solution
