If you love building up layered, opaque surfaces, Duncan Cover-Coat® Opaque Underglazes are your go-to ceramic color solution. These versatile underglazes can be applied directly to greenware, soft-fired bisque, or bisque for full matte coverage—even over dark clay bodies.

Perfect for brushwork, layering, and airbrushing, Cover-Coats deliver solid color in just three coats and can be tinted with other Cover-Coats or E-Z Stroke Translucent Underglazes to create custom hues. After application, fire your greenware to Cone 04, then apply a Duncan food-safe clear glaze to seal the surface for functional ware.

How to Use:
