About the Instructor:
Jeff Bushman is a seasoned illustrator and educator who brings stories to life through Family Histories Illustrated—his studio focused on transforming personal memories into expressive artworks. His style blends traditional pen-and-ink, caricature, and watercolor techniques, always emphasizing historical accuracy and emotional resonance.
Jeff taught drawing, figure drawing, and watercolor at Utah Valley University (2001–2025) and served as an art instructor at UCAS (2005–2019). He holds an MFA in Illustration from Marywood University and a BFA in Illustration from ArtCenter College of Design.
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Jeff is passionate about helping others see the beauty in their stories through the power of art.
