Your paint colors will remain true and brilliant, and the smooth surface can be worked into. Simply apply a thin layer of paint or ink, remove it, reapply it, even scratch through it to add contrast, texture and fine details. Ampersand's Musuem Series Claybord is truly a mixed-media artist's dream. Claybord is archival, formaldehyde-free, eco-friendly, and made by hand. This product comes as 1/8" flat profile, or 3/4", 1.5", or 2" birch wood cradles.
