I have always had a love for creativity and expression. I particularly enjoy music and art. I appreciate all genres of music. Ihave participated in choral, solo, and small groups. My favorite musical experiences occured during the years I sang and toured with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. My creative art ventures began in my early twenties. I began carving and selling hand dipped candles. After I did this for a time, I began designing stencils and etching glass as a hobby-for-profit. I’ve really enjoyed it and have been doing it for the past 40 years. Three years ago, I began carving designs and nature scenes on rifle stocks. plaques, gourds, ostrich eggs. and anything else that can be carved. A year and a half ago I was introduced to a method of drawing called Liquid Lead. It uses airbrush, pencil, and an eraser to create life-like black and white scenes and portraits. Its a fascinating way of drawing and the end product is a beautiful work. I have enjoyed this method of drawing and plan to continue perfecting my ability in this field of art.
